Casio AE1200 Sunflower Dial

This Casio AE1200 Sunflower Dial began as one of my old paintings. A small sunflower study that had been sitting in my studio for years, rarely seen. One afternoon I started wondering what it would look like on a wrist. A few prototypes later, this watch was born.

Built from an authentic Casio AE1200 base, the dial features the original sunflower artwork, laser printed on heavy cardstock and backed with PET plastic for durability. Every piece is hand assembled in small batches, one at a time.

The Sunflower Dial is the first in a new direction for Kim Studio Watches. A way to bring fine art and personal imagery onto the wrist in a format that feels collected, not mass produced.

The result is a custom watch that feels artistic, thoughtfully made, and different from anything else in the custom Casio space.

Why it stands out Most custom Casio mods rely on decals or surface artwork. This design uses a fully printed dial drawn from an original painting, giving the watch a one of a kind character that other mods cannot replicate. Every Sunflower Dial carries the source artwork directly into the construction of the piece itself.
