Casio F91W Mountain Sunrise

This Casio F91W Mountain Sunrise began as a hand drawn design inspired by sunrises over mountain ridges. I wanted bold colors that pop, with a metallic shimmer that catches the light and looks like a real sunrise breaking over the horizon.

Built from an authentic Casio F91W base, the piece features a custom image filter placed behind the LCD. Unlike surface level mods, positioning the filter behind the display creates a rich, metallic quality to the screen, adding warmth and depth while keeping the digital readout completely legible. The result is a display that feels alive rather than decorated.

This piece represents my passion as a maker. I hope whoever wears it is reminded of theirs.
