Casio AE1200 Royale 24K Gold Moon Watch

This handmade watch mod transforms the classic Casio AE1200 "Royale" into a small wearable night sky. The moon detail is made with real 24K gold leaf, giving it a warm, textured glow that shifts beautifully under the light. Against the black dial and bronze-toned case, the gold moon feels almost ancient, like a small lunar artifact inside a digital watch.

Each piece is made by hand, so the texture of the moon is naturally unique. The surface is not perfectly flat or factory-smooth; it is intentionally sculptural, organic, and slightly imperfect, like the surface of the real moon.

This watch keeps the practical charm of the AE1200: world time, alarms, stopwatch, timer, calendar, and backlight. The handmade art dial makes it feel completely different from a standard Casio.

Although the original Casio AE1200 is marked water resistant, this watch has been opened and modified by hand, so water resistance is not guaranteed. Carefully resealed by hand and water resistant for daily wear, rain, and washing your hands. As with any modified watch, I'd avoid showering, deep water, or swimming just to be safe.
