Casio F91W Pop Art

This Casio F91W Pop Art piece started with my love of comic books. There has always been something dramatic and nostalgic about comic art to me, especially the work of Roy Lichtenstein and the bold, graphic energy of the speech bubble and the classic action burst. I wanted to bring that feeling onto the wrist.

The design is hand drawn and built around a comic theme, complete with ben day dots that give the piece a shimmering, almost gemstone like quality in the light. The image is placed behind the LCD, creating a vivid, metallic depth that feels both retro and modern at once. Built from an authentic white Casio F91W base, every piece is hand assembled in small batches, one at a time.

What I love most about comics is that they were always about the underdog. The person who did not fit in, but kept going anyway. This watch carries a little of that spirit. It is bold, colorful, and made to be enjoyed.

The result is a custom watch that feels artistic, playful, and unlike anything else in the custom Casio space.
